Accelerator EAP Program
Positive, Goal-Focused Psychological Support for Teams
The Accelerator EAP Program by Me & Work expands beyond traditional EAP models. We work with individuals on a one-on-one level using a structured, evidence-based approach to support goal setting, goal attainment, resilience, self-efficacy, and overall personal satisfaction.
Through our tailored Accelerator Sessions, we help individuals tap into their strengths and build practical strategies that support long-term wellbeing and performance—both in and out of the workplace.
Evidence-Based and Clinically Focused
At Me & Work, we ensure that all services are clinically grounded and based on current psychological evidence. That’s why we incorporate positive psychological interventions in our Accelerator Sessions.
These interventions focus on identifying and using personal strengths to improve overall wellbeing. Research consistently shows that this approach leads to better outcomes for both individuals and the wider organisation.
How It Works
Our goal is to improve your team’s:
- Wellbeing
- Self-efficacy
- Personal performance
- Professional growth
We achieve this using the PERMA model—which stands for Positive Emotions, Engagement, Relationships, Meaning, and Accomplishments. These five domains form the foundation of our Accelerator Sessions.
Quick Access. Real Support
Your teams can access support quickly and easily. Each participant is matched with a registered Me & Work psychologist to ensure a high standard of care.
Before the first Accelerator Session, each individual completes an initial evaluation. This enables our psychologists to maximise the value of each session.
As part of this process, participants complete digital preparatory reflection exercises—streamlined and efficient—to begin building awareness and belief in their own ability to create positive change.
This early engagement sets the tone for success, helping individuals take control of their behaviours and progress toward specific personal or professional goals.
What We Focus On
Our approach is collaborative, personalised, and strengths-based. We support participants in setting goals and developing their own performance plans—while accounting for their personal, interpersonal, and social contexts.
Our services are not limited by diagnosis or condition. We don’t restrict sessions to clinical presentations. Instead, we support individuals based on their real-world needs and desired outcomes, which may include:
- Leadership and management support
- Project management and delegation
- Gaining insight into personal strengths and weaknesses
- Managing stress at work and at home
- Enhancing work performance and career planning
- Effective communication
- Depression and anxiety
- Alcohol, substance use or gambling
- Relationship or family issues
- Boundary violations and domestic matters
- Health problems, illness or injury
- Workplace concerns or conflict
- Financial hardship
- Grief and loss
- Trauma
What Sets Us Apart
We employ registered psychologists—not counsellors.
We believe in providing psychological support where it’s needed.
Unlike other providers, we don’t rely on heavy annual fees.
The Me & Work Difference
While we absolutely support individuals through difficult times, our focus is on what happens next. We help your teams develop the skills, mindset, and habits they need to move forward—not just to cope, but to grow.
We don’t push people to be perfect—we guide them to understand how they can adapt, learn, and reach their full potential.
The result? Teams that take ownership of their wellbeing and develop sustainable strategies for both their personal and professional success.
